Titanium steel is not a standard academic name, but a commercial name. Because 316L stainless steel corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance is better than the general stainless steel, the standard grade is 022Cr17Ni12Mo2, mainly contains Cr, Ni, Mo, the number represents the percentage probably contains.

So titanium steel is titanium-free, its main component is still iron. This trade name is to distinguish from other stainless steel as an ornament, and obtain a higher value.
